This is fascinating.
The emerging technology called Blockchain (what powers Bitcoin) will soon transform the computer industry. In the next couple of years companies will be spending billions on the technology - I cannot emphasize enough how big Blockchain will be. IBM is betting big on Blockchain.
Yet to me the coolest thing was that the person (or group) who invented it was a complete mystery - they used the pseudonym "Satoshi Nakamoto" and nobody ever saw or met this person - all communication was electronic...and they disappeared years ago never to be heard from again.
Now apparently he's been outed... though some our doubtful. Craig Steven Wright doesn't care if you believe him or not - he wants to be left alone and forgotten... oh, and he's probably worth over $450 million from his invention...
