MiRa Huyghe serves as Senior Vice President of Development Operations. Ms. Huyghe has a strong background in clinical development with over 30 years of biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic experience. As an independent clinical development consultant, she has worked with numerous small and mid-size companies leading to successful implementation of clinical trials worldwide and subsequent marketing approvals. She has held prior positions as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Prometheus Biosciences which was acquired by Merck & Co., Inc., Vice President of Clinical Development at Oppilan Pharma (now Ventyx), Escalier Biosciences, and Conatus Pharmaceuticals, and as Director of Clinical Research at Idun Pharmaceuticals which was acquired by Pfizer. Prior to Idun, Ms. Huyghe held various clinical research positions at Santarus, Ligand Pharmaceuticals, and Telios Pharmaceuticals. Ms. Huyghe graduated from University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in biology with a minor in literature.
