Brian Connolly serves as Chief Technical Officer, leading Spyre's technical operations. He is also serving as a Scientific Advisory Board member at Arda Therapeutics. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Head of Chemistry, Manufacturing, Controls (CMC) & Supply Chain at Prometheus Biosciences, which was acquired by Merck & Co., Inc. He has held prior positions as Senior Director of CMC Development & Manufacturing at Catalyst Biosciences, Senior Director of Operations at ViewPoint Therapeutics, and Associate Director, Commercial Manufacturing Operations & Plazomicin CMC Team Leader at Achaogen. He began his career at Genentech for more than 12 years in roles of increasing responsibility across clinical & commercial manufacturing, CMC development, and project & portfolio management. He holds a B.S. in bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego.
